Our Aim - To continually promote activities to FOSTER FAMILY TIES

Objectives - Short  Medium and Long Term Goals

Disputes and conflicts are all too common everywhere. In relation to matrimonial disputes, the unresolved conflict may have a significant negative impact for example straining in relationship of the married couple which could lead to their separation or divorce. Our objectives are therefore are centred on:

To help married couples better understand the Marriage Covenant. The Challenges of Parenting - Child Disciplining, Long term Relationships and the pain to relevant parties when they seek separation and or divorce.

To lobby all relevant parties towards Conflict Resolution by counseling couples with the focus on being good caring parents. Children have a fundamental need of love from both parents to become valuable members of society.

To create publicity and awareness on Conciliation & Mediation to resolve marital disputes. Otherwise, the lives of couples fall in the hands of selfish parties (or unscrupulous lawyers) who would rather encourage a dissolution of marriage (discourage peaceful resolutions) with the sole purpose of  financial gains, rewards or favours.

To be an Early Intevention Centre where disputing couples can seek help to resolve their disputes through MEDIATION.

To create awareness by having  Talks/Forums on the importance of Child Welfare in the event of dissolution of marriage.

To Network with governmental bodies and  agencies on Family related issues that brings about positive impact to our community and the future.

To present Memorandum and make constructive suggestions on parental issues to the Judiciary, Bar Council and Legislature and the National Integrity Council to formulate policies on the family.

To lobby for a Judicial System which provides a "HUMAN FACE" in Family Courts where decision made have devastating life long implications.

To lobby Parliament to amend the Law Reform Marriage & Divorce Act 1976

The Seriousness

To highlight any form of Parental Alienation as a child abuse. The victims are not only the deprived children but also their parent. Children under Parental Alienation are often faced with mental distress as they are not able to express their true intentions to the dominant parent. These children usually suffer emotional and psychological trauma, which are unnoticed. In the long run, their development gets affected.

Our nation need children who are brought up in a stable environment free from the unnecessary effects of Parental Alienation. On a second note, aged parents need the love of their children in their twilight years.
